Cigarette boat hull Bonzi sports hull, 54"
Single screw, dual turn blades
Fun, and fast usage, but want some good engine life...
No prior gas boat builds, but rc hobby nitro experience +5yr
Just need motor clutch and mount to finish,
mod zenoah? Rcmk? QuickDraw?

Mod Zenoah from CCRacing Engines or Quickdraw. 30.5. I have a 30.5 Quickdraw in a Accutech hydro and it's just scarey fast

With a QD, you get what you pay for, including a perfectly matched/state of the art pipe system. But it's a high end purpose built machine. If you don't take proper care of it ( routine maintenance ), you will waste your money and not be happy. You can't treat them like just another weed wacker eng.

Im a loyal CC customer...I can truly say I have never been disappointed with one of them. I've raced against just about every engine out there at one time or another and never felt at a disadvantage...most of the time the opposite actually. That said, I would be curious to try a QD engine...I have never actually owned one...maybe someday I will make up my mind and try one...just so I can say I did! lol They sure look like awesome engines! The machine work alone makes me drool! :)

I recomend DQ or Carlo's engines. Parts for Carlo's engines are cheaper to replace given he builds and modifies zen. If i were ever to buy a finished modified engine it would be from him. Quality and service is top in my books and he makes an awsome friend in the hobby. I have now made the move to QD from custom self built RCMK. My QD's are not stock by any means, the quality is top in my books for a perpose built engine. Either manufacture will please....

I have seven OD's in my possession. All have been carefully checked for alignment of the four bearings in their crankcases; square-ness of the cylinders bore to it's machined bottom surface & square-ness of the crankcase's machined top surface to the crankshafts axis. There is no gasket used between the crankcase sections. Also, 1/8" dowel pins are used in place of roll pins to align the crankcase haves & the cylinder to the crankcase. A properly designed exhaust nozzle & head pipe can only be found on this engine.
