hi

does any one experience with these motors? the HP ratings on various web sites is approx 7hp / 14HP which seems very high.

what feed back do you have

Jason, I have experience with the 30 cylds. and they CAN BE very strong. However, there are different ways to modify those cylds., and some I have seen are scary. I would say to get a good pro eng. builder to mod the cylds., and you should be fine.

But DON'T hang your hat on horsepower #s! If that's a main selling point, walk away.

You could have a boat with 20 horsepower, but if you can't drive it, you've got NOTHING.
