CMB27cc disc rotor engine with PowerSpark adaption kit
The mass production magnetic "SELETTRA" ignition which comes with that engine has a weight of 450gramms (=15.9 oz).
The adaption kit (sensorcarrier with waterproof encapsulated sensor plus flywheel) has a weight of 200gramms (= 7 oz), the weight of the grey secondary coil is included. The secondary coil itself has to be purchased by the customer at a different source. I recommend the ZENOAH one.
The red boxhas a weight of 120gramms (= 4.2 oz, cables all included). That means the PowerSpark system saves 130gramms (= 4.7 oz). The advantages of the PowerSpark system are well known so far as I think.
2 different types of flywheels are available at the same price:
Type "small" has the same package data as the mass production one, so after adapting the PowerSpark system the builder must not change anything.
Type "big" has a bigger diameter of the betlt start groove so the collision danger of belt and header is decreased. Recommended for catamarans (if build wants to install 2 of those engines in 1 boat).
If customer wants to get the system for a counter rotating engine: please tell, I can prepare.
Costs:
