RCMK K600S questions?

smokeater2005 created the topic: RCMK K600S questions?

Here are my questions?

1. K600S length is 8.25" w/o clutch, how tall is it (with plugs and wires) and does the drop mounts sold for this motor truly make a difference on a deep vee hull?

2. Is this motor to much for a "bonzisports" outdrive hardware? if so, what is the best setup without spending an arm and a leg that will hold the Hp & Torque?
trying for 2 blade, single prop, surface drive, one turn fin

3. Using two 7/8" headers and two 2" tuned pipes is not likley possible, due to a shortage of room. Therefore, would it be possible (outsourcing this of course) to use the same, angle and spacing, headers and have a 2-into-1 collector with 1" output made. the question would be would it work or hurt engine performance?

I would then feed that collector into a 60cc airplane exhaust canister, which would be mounted for a downward angled port side exit. I assume that I would have to wrap the collector with some type of custom metal water cooling tubing similar to that seen on some electric boat motors, and would like to exit the collector cooling water threw the downward angled port side exhaust exit pipe, angled of course for no possible injection backwards into the exhuast canister.

54" bonzisports fountain hull, shooting for 60-70mph range.
ANY help questions and or tips would be very helpful! Thanks everybody!

stick to a single high quality engine like a CC Racing or one of name brand engine builders and u will have way less issues

Not that that can't be done just many issues and pipes would be first ... why run a twin then give the horsepower away in pipes etc. tuned pipes make power and twins are a job to set up and tune

Many better hardware around for same price (or less) as Bonzi

Keep it simple and u will have way more fun
