I replaced the head gasket on my 26 sikk motor and had a really hard time getting head back on on now motor will not even attempt to fire. it does not seem like its getting fuel the carb is working fine though. I even sprayed starting fluid and still no fire. anyone know what I did or broke that would cause this?

is compression and spark ok?? i have trouble starting sometimes with too much compression new rings etc . Try loosening plug to get it started and then tighten once it is going ( carefully so you dont get zapped )gennerally with engine faults if it aint fuel its electrical
