Plugged carb screen

tapkoote replied the topic: Re: Plugged carb screen

Got to shout out to Caniadian Hot Rod
I got the tank plugs, not just one, but four, thanks dude, if any one needs one let me know.
I've only been here a couple seasons but this sport needs to atract more of these folks.
I came from drag racing, there every one is family, they want to race you at your best. That way when they beat you , your beat.
I saw a fourm question a while back about the future of rc boat racing, the future may be in the hands of the young coming up, but they are trained by those whose hands it's in now.
I've got three good buds who would have probably raced, but watched the cost of my education, there are other ways of entertainment. I had to caution them I had well over $500 of junk tuned pipes in a box and easily that much in props I couldn't use, just a word to the wise.
Thanks again Randy and good luck racing!!

Glad u received them. I'm just a sport boater (sometimes race against my son) in Northern BC.

Randy Rap, Ronald Olsen, Marc and Scott here are the racers - I just play. I am a 35+ year NHRA drag racer though so I appreciate what you say.

I help who I can and give 1 boat away every year in area to a kid ( I have for 5 years) So we now have a few here and lots of interest growing at new hobby shop.

Cheers

Randy

More than likely I used to attend a lot of events - used to love the 50 funny cars in Seattle - if that dates me any .........Lol

Building a 61 Ford for my son (61 Ford pickup a unibody) took 4" from top / camaro chassic in front working on BBC for him (ya I know it's a Ford) but I'm a chevy engine guy

The 61 has been in my family since 1962 - pretty rare don't see many short box unibody trucks

I have 2 offices 1 in Prince George and other in Surrey (Vancouver) so I wander your way sometimes

Have fun

hey guys
I got out to the lake for some super testing today.
That motor Scott put together is a screamer, sorry no pics though.
It's in an Areo marine thunder boat hull and way too much motor for a shovel nose.
After three tanks to break in, I wound it up but after 50 FT. it's too wild.
I'm going to have to get together my sport boat for this one.
Thanks again Scott--wild!!

Pat,
Too funny ... power to burn is good, time now to find better props that can take advantage of the power ;)

Have fun !!
