carb specs anyone ?

road created the topic: carb specs anyone ?

i am a bit of a newby so here is a question on carbs ,

i have a few to pick from
first off what is the bore diameter on the popular 167a walbro ? or a big bore carb ?
i have a highly moded 25cc homie and tuned pipe wet exhaust water cooled and a clutch 48" equalizer boat plus hardware

i have 3 to pick from
1- wt194 34/64ths bore from a stihl chainsaw (1/2" bore) no choke no primer
2- wt434 24/64ths bore no primer w/choke
3 - zama -h60-47a (original but modified ) removed the choke w/primer
i took pics but they are real crappy.
think im going to try the zama , my engine is highly modified
25cc , you name it i did it.

any help please

167's were 9/16" across butterfly & 7/16" at venturi if my memory is correct.
No clue on those other carbs. Generally carbs WILL NOT work well on an engine unless the engine it is adapted too is within @ 20% +/- of the engine displacement carb was originally fitted on.

Our per-say "Big Bore" carbs are 5/8" across butter fly and 1/2" at venturi.
