Thanks scott,
I am currently modifying the rear ex evo for my sport hydro, It runs strong with what I have already done with timings and transfers, wondering if I should drop the deck height a wee bit? the ex is at 184 and intake is 157, you know how it is , no mater how fast you go you always want to go faster
Cheers

What about a +1mm stroker crank? Would that give more compression and displacement?

If your RZ is anything like the half dozen or so I have been into thus far, they come decked already pretty tight at @ .020" from the factory.
Lowering decking further without re cutting piston dome your going to be to tight on squish. * Also going lower is going to extend the intake duration more which being @ 157 now is going to cost you torque, tho rpm will be even higher.
The numbers your at now 184/157 is IMO pretty spot on for a race duty boat .... Play with pipes of different volume and cone angles :good: .. you will be mildly surprised on the power band changes that will be discovered.

Thanks Scott,
These evos seem to have a bunch of torque, will play with pipe more and see what I can get out of it,once again thanks, your advice is most appreciated.
