I have been out of Gas Boats for about 5 years. I have a gallon of Cool Power Blue and just purchased a new WWHobbies Magnum 57 with Zenoah G260 M5 Upgrade. I don't remember what ratio was best with this engine and oil. I think I used to use 6 oz to 1 gallon. Can someone tell me what mixture I should be using with Cool Power Blue Oil and this engine?

Warehouse Hobbies recommend 6 oz per gallon for their modified Zenoah engines....they recommend Amzoil however, but I'm sure the Cool Power will work fine also.

A lot of the guys recommend 8 oz. per US gal. there is a fair bit of discusion on jim's about this. Harv

8 To 1 is better than 6 to me .
I use coolpower blue and use 9oz to a gallon with my 260 modded motor some people even use 10oz to a gallon

I use 7oz to 4 litres of gas with out any problems. But as we know every one has there own ideas on this issue.

We run 8oz of oil per gallon of Camp Fuel or 87 octane gas. That ratio seems to work for us, lets the motors perform well without a lot of wear on the internals of the motor.
