how do you do the formula again to get your percentage to find your center of gravity

CG= distance of balance point from transom divided by total lenght of hull

So if you want CG of 33% and your hull is 44 inches long, this would transpose to 44" x 0.33 = 14.5" (this is your balance point from transom).
