Guys,

Just wanted to give a big Congrats to my Teammates Mark and Chris Grim for breaking 2 more world records today with there CC Racing powered Grim Reaper Rigger. They set the NAMBA G-1 Hydro 2 lap record and the GX-1 Hydro 2 lap record today at Legg Lake 2 lap oval trials. The GX-1 Record was broke by over 3 seconds and was done with the new CC Racing Pro Mod Zenoah not a billet engine. The CC Racing powered Grim Reaper Rigger is now the undisputed fastest heat race rigger on the planet as it holds both the NAMBA and IMPBA records. I sure wish they would hurry up and finish the molds so we all can have one of these phenomenal boats.

Chris told me they should be able to go faster as they put the small prop on the boat just to get it dialed in before they started pushing it hard. There goal is to be the first gas boat to make sub 10 second laps. As of today the record as it stands right now is 21.86 for 2 laps. I will not be surprised if it changes again before the weekend is over.

They have lowered the record again to 21.33 sec for two laps and still think there is more to go. They are still going to try one more time tonight.

Here is the latest update. Chris drove the CC Powered Grim Reaper Rigger to a 21.08 sec 2-lap time which re-set the record from yesterday and officially made this the world's fastest gas powered heat race boat. The two lap trials at Legg Lake are going on all day today and Chris is gonna try to break the 20 second barrier for two laps. Good Luck guys I know you can do it.

Chris Grim just re-set the record again to 20.660 sec for 2-laps. That is 10.33 second laps that is just incredible keep it up guys you are so close now.

The 20 second 2-lap barrier has finally been broken with a gas boat. The Mark and Chris Grim designed Grim Reaper Rigger powered by the new CC Racing Pro Mod Engine, CC Powermaster Aluminum pipe with 1" header and True Spin Prop has set the new NAMBA 2-lap record at 19.953 sec for two laps. That is an average of 9.976 seconds per lap. That is by far the fastest gas powered heat race boat on the planet and it was done with a modified Zenoah.

I would like to congratulate Mark and Chris Grim for an awesome job and for helping take gas boating to the next level. You guys are just awesome and I am proud to be on the same team with you guys. You guys inspire me to work harder to achieve the goals we have. This is the stuff that make all the late night dyno sessions worth it. This was a great Fathers day present.
