I am building a 48inch mono from scratch with a 26cc weedwhacker engine. Can anyone help me find a prop that will work? This is my first project and I have no clue what is best.:dash:

I would start with something like a 270 2-blade, 280 2-blade or X472 2-blade. A 7016 2-blade might be a good choice also. Once you've tried one or two of these you will be able to make other choices based on how they ran. Really will depend on your hull and powerplant. These should be good starting points.

Hi if its a stock weedy id go for the bigger props like the 280,i ran one for a year on mine with good sucess.Ive just recently built a boat (my own design) for someone with a slightly ported weedy with a stainless steel customised pipe and its running the 6717/3 prop,i tested it for him and she ran quite well but wasnt quite hitting peak but ive since done some work on the prop for him so she should run even better now.Still thinking a two blade prop might work better but we shall see.He will be testing her out this weekend all been well.Heres the first test run with no strut adjustments.
