Nice Job, Scott! I love the look of that boat. I grew up around the time when conventional hydros were being replaced by cabovers, and to see a scale version of one of larry Lauterbach's boats is just amazing to me. The shaft oiler is cool, and the detailing is nice, too. What kind of paint did you use on it?

Dang does it get HOT under the cowl. We needed a LOT more air flow to help cool it down and keep engine supplied with fresh cool air.

Four 1" holes drilled threw the deck and then some nice light weight stainless air scoops over them. Major improvement in less heat and better engine performance
