I bought a ZZR for the same purpose but hooked my retrieval system up a little differently.
It doesn't hurt to get a spare battery pack either as I started having too much fun playing with my boat then not having enough juice left to do what I bought it for!

I use the Aquacraft Hammer boat with a saltwater bait cast reel and Kevlar line, it doesnt cut as easily as monofilament and is smaller in diameter. I have about 800 yards on mine of 30# test. I can break line till I retire from boating and still not run out ha!! Our lake is 40 acres and its 300 yards across it, so lots of line is needed occasionally...
