I like to see this kind of thing, it gives real satisfaction to make your own parts, and some for others as well, I dont have small machines anymore but these are what I started with. This type of thing will not only make your parts but teach you other trades that you may need later on in life!

The new Taig's do come with a power feed on the carriage, so threading is possible. Taig also sells a retrofit kit to install the powerfeed onto older machines $99.00 I believe, of course that was a few months ago.
