Looks like you have a CDI ignition. You need a resistor NGK plug. Way back in the day. They put cj8's and J19lm's in briggs powered push mowers. If you got close to a TV or Radio it would mess up the signal. Same as old cars>>>That hum you would hear through your radio. Non Resistor plug. And don't go cheap on the battery's.
