I just went to Jim's and a screen showed up saying it had been hacked by this guy, strange looking picture so just warning you.

looks like theres ways around Ip blocks huh? Maybe they used ARP spoofing or something. I admire the persistence and technical savy of the hacker even though his end may be morally questionable.

Wow...that sucks...I've been there more than once...not fun when your site gets hacked. On the positive side, I'm sure they have good backups and it's only a forum...pretty easy to get back up and running.

BTW this is NOT a site to bash JRCBD...just because some members here were banned from there, doesn't mean it's free for all...Jim is a friend of mine and I respect him very much and would appreciate others show respect also, wether you like him and/or the admins there or not. Just saying before any of this gets out of hand.

Hi folks. Yes the site is temporarily down. Not sure of the details as I was told about the hack and got my admins working the issue in record time. We just recently purchased a new server and was getting ready to apply the latest security patches for the forum software. Well we were a bit to late evidently!

I appreciate Marc's forum here as he has always been a great supporter of the dock and likewise I have nothing but respect for him and this site. It's not easy running a site and believe me it's days like this where I question why even do it.

Anyway hope to get the site ship shape in the next day or so. There may be a period where it will be slow as we upgrade and apply patches but with the recently purchased new hardware the delays should be minimized. If were lucky you will not notice were changing the software under the covers.
