I have the new Futaba system and it has some differences from the Spektrum and JR transmitters, I have trouble adjusting the throttle idle down far enough as the trim wont go far enough to one end even with 100 percent of the sub trim in it still wont go to the end of servo travel.
The spektrum would do this without a hitch, I wonder what I am missing? Maybe something isnt set right?
Also when the end points are set on the throttle, and the trim is changed by quite a bit the end point positions change some as well, is this normal?

I can't help you much there my friend , all my stuff is aircraft system based.

I would like to try a computer based Futaba pcm pistol grip radio if they make one that would accept my 50 Mc. Futaba modules.

In the past I was well pleased with the Futaba support girl at Great Planes,AnnMarie Cross,but I don't think she is there anymore.

Seriously though I like the system, the failsafe leaves a lot to be desired though. It is immune to spark and mechanical noise, no frequency clips to deal with, the 603fs receiver is the one to have as far as I am concerned, plus its a new toy to play with!!
I was looking for 50 meg stuff when I got in a few years back but they had just come out with the JR synthisized units on 75, so I went that route.
The throttle trim problem can be solved with 120 on the open throttle side and 15 to 20 on the kill side, the trim at zero and then there is plenty of trim adjustment..
