What measuring device did you use to check the .2490 reamed hole, did you use a straight or helical fluted reamer. Hand or machine?

Hey Jim, I just read your post where you reamed a .2490 hole and then pressed in a .2502 dowel pin. You absolutely had to have an escape hole for the air in the hole to get out or there would have been no way for you to have gotten a .0012 press fit pin to go that deep into your shaft. Or did you use something like LanoLube?

Widened the base - making torque huh? LOL . You have yourself one nice bench queen there sir B) . When do we get to hear these ladies sing? Everytime I see those carburetors Im envious :blush: .


BTW I need that steel pipe on the .90 those multi chambers and finish are gorgeous :lol:

Among other things maybe a video of that tach :) .

About the gas pipe maybe you could use an autobody stinger system and pull that dent out . I know its likely superficial I just hate seeing it that way when I know It was perfect before the mishap :(
