i seem to be getting a lot of water in my boat due to water getting through the top cover that covers the motor is this normall or is there something i can do to fix this??

Also could also be a water leak around the "O" rings on the cooling/exhaust system , depending on where the leak is it may not be noticable in the performance. I would suggest a simple pressure check on all cooling system components.

Hello mudunda - I know you said you think the water is getting in topside, but like Ed said check everything, also make sure the flex shaft is well greased and the water is not getting in thru here. Good luck with your boat.

Are you gettin water in the engine or jus the boat? If jus the boat you can always make a lid for the engine compartment with lexan or thin plexiglass and velcro.
