yes it's carbon/kevlar not sure what weave either its not a standard twill. it,s 2kevlar 1carbon in one direction and 2carbon 1kevlar in the other. gives a good effect thou. runs up the sides to the gunwale and across the transom but only rear half of hull. problem is now i cant use ply rails and stringers . will have to get some carbon sheeting lol

It's a MHZ 83 cheif 1600 or there abouts and i think the C/K lay is extra.
got it for a steal.

Hi Monstrosity

Only once have I seen an Apache as big as this.

With a bare hull like you have the possibilities for kitting it out will be endless and no doubt a very exciting challenge.

Do keep us posted as to how your build progresses.

This photo shows the boat that I saw:

interesting honeycomb... probably to weight the bottom more to keep the missle upright i guess...

What ideas are you toying around with for engine/engines...???

the honeycomb is actually the reinforcing of the Bow top deck
not sure on engines yet weather to do two mod zen's or go Quick draws. I dont think i will use inlines thou will be elec start and clutches and try for Zdrives .Will still try and keep weight to a minimum and need to have elec start as not going to hand launch this one LOL.
Visually will go for scale look that you dont get with stingers. Well i havent seen any real Apache's with stinger drives anyway. It's not going to be a super speeed machine ( Size of the thing) but will be no slouch either. Plenty of canvas to get a very nice airbrush job.
