First, do you race ? and if so make sure it's displacement will be legal in class run.
Second, No replacement for displacement generally in finding more power !
Do note, Some hulls or types don't handle as well with bigger props that a larger displacement engine will run. In those cases your better staying with the smaller engines and run up the rpm using smaller props.

Nope no racing ---- usually lately just me and dog and few dozen lakes to pick from. I just see the good deal on kits and come from old school when "no replacement for displacement" like you say
Just I have a few Modded Zens and was wondering if it's worth it to swap to new (stock)Zen 28.5 kits. I can do some work over winter on them (long winter here)
Thinking of my Razor - or my Rigger - I could do a spare Zen I have as I'm doing a parts order so was just wondering if it was worth it... I kinda like to stay with Zenoah when possible, I seem to have good luck with them... and I'm cheap ....Lol
