Question for Scott Prop Cupping

Procat created the topic: Question for Scott Prop Cupping

Hey Scott I,m running a 270 Prather prop on my Aeromarine Cat , When I try the 275 its having a hard time at slower
speeds. My Question is if I Cup the 275 would this help? Also to do this I'm using a steel ball from a pinball machine, is this a good size? I,ve tried opening the high side carb needle to adjust for the bigger prop. Thanks in advance for any info. Noel One more thing where was that link about back cutting a prop I would also like to experiment with this. Thanks again for all the help you and all the guys at MGB give us.

Not had much luck changing around prather props :P

In cats with Zenoah power have found a FAR better prop to be the Propshop or VooDoo 7016/2 blade. You will find them very easy to pull, yet deliver great cornering control with high straight away speeds ;)
