I have been around fast nitros for quite some time now.But, i am new to gas. I am looking for something large and very fast. Ive been looking at the Warehouse Hobbies magnum 57. Ive had trouble finding any reviews. What do you guys think? Any other suggestions? thanks

I have one that I will be doing a review on shortly. I have only had a chance to run it a few times to date (busy with races and stuff) but when I return from Celina I will test it fully and do the review on it. From what little time I've had with it, it was a lot of fun and seems to be a very complete entry level boat. I don't think you will find better overall quality in similar RTR's on the market today. I was quite please with the package as a whole. It is not a race boat, but was not designed to be so. I have had a friend try it out (was his first time running an RC boat) and he ran it great. I can see this boat being an awesome big water boat!

There are so many good boats out there...for Monos, The Stryker Y-6, Insane Mono, Hurricane Mono, AM XXX, Lazer 45, the list goes on....they are all good boats each with their particulars. Narrow it down yourself first, based on which ones you like best.

I'm new to gas boating after having dabbled in nitro and electric. I picked up a used Magnum 57 for my first gas boat. Other thand a mid mod Zen, it is stock. I love it. handles great, it will spin out but is very stable and does not flip eaisly. It is easy to maintain and tune. Mine is running in the low 40"s, good enough for me, It handles rough water with ease and is great fun. The only time I turned it over I was jumping full size boat wakes and caught it on a bad angle. The only thing I wilol be changing on mine is the radio box, I want it to be tighter. It got full of water when I flipped it and it took some time to get the electronics dried out.
