Gas tank?

Woodie replied the topic: Re: Gas tank?

Hi Marc.

True, I am the beginner to the MGB's, and it would be cheeky of me to contradict you in the issue about "caught water" as I understand what you mean.
But still I consider it. Remember that I'm a former boatbuilder and know about the problems with moisture in closed areas, that turned out not to be so closed at all.
In the end this is a question about craftmanship. :)

Cheers! :cheer:

Hey woodie, all you need are some good ole bean cans and some duct tape. Around where i live people use that to fix every thing. Just take 2 beans cans empty them out and have your self some lunch, tape them suckers in you boat with the duct tape and BAMM gas tanks.
really i am kidding about that i am just sleep deprived and delirious. :silly:

Hi Goesman :)

"BAMM"?

Are you sure you did'nt mean to say "`KABOOOM´"? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Anyway I'm still looking for the perfect tank. Approx one liter. With: 140-160 mm, height: 90-110 mm, depth: 70-75 mm. Lid on the top is preferred.
A heavy clunk with filter to the bottom.

Cheers! :cheer:
