Thanks to ya all!

I expected some advise about putting heat protection on the inside of the hull, and then you all come up with this tape, which should be much easier to handle and apply! Maybe I also could put the tapes on the inside edges of the spants and canopy, where the wooden parts gets a little too close to the exhaust?
I will for sure look for this stuff in stores with equipment for cars and MC's.
