This is just the gizmo I have been looking for!
When time comes I will be racing in open waters, and I really would hate to watch my 3.000 $ boat dissapear into the horizon
My Blata will be equipped with electric starter, and I consider to make it operate by remote on a fourth channel, just to be able to try restarts at distance.

Hi guys!
Hi Andre!
I just want to say that russian boaters are use a small kill-switches also.
It comes from Europe, were we found first steps and electronic schemes for safety races.
Some boats found a meeting with steel grid or concrete shore without radio key.
Easyest kill-switch, our good homemade schemes cost about $18...20.
