Ran into a glitch for me today ....... Instructions say : For the rudder we recommend the SPDR- 013-1SB, 60/90 Rudder Assembly. which is 1 1/8" ,,, so I have 1

I screwed up some where ...problem is (for me anyways - not sure what I did wrong I squared them to back) is my rear shoes stick out 1 1/2" so my rudder will need to be a 2"

Back to the drawing board ........ oh well I have a nice polished / sharpen rudder anyways Lol

Cleared and stuck some decals on............

Question for the Rigger guys .......

since my shoes are 1 1/2" out do I use a 1 5/8" rudder kit (real close then) or the 2 1/4" I don't see a 2" from Speed Master ??

Thanks

Randy

Randy, block sand the tips of the shoes at the back to provide clearance for the rudder. Do both side even. I need to update this info in the instructions.

Thanks for the suggestion - already painted and cleared (it's a 3 part paint with hardener in it) so I think I'll just order a 2 1/4" - not sure

I would have to sand 1/2" off and keep it sand and equal ......... and most likely re paint back (the 3 part red)

Cheers and thanks for ideas

Thanks to Docsl for a great video.
Your Warpath is truly scaring! Just look at those fast turns with almost no loss of speed!
Paintjob is great too.
I am not much into this myself, but I think that Warpath riggers will make a class of its own some day.

Cheers! :cheer:

Woodie.

If all goes well we should have about 4 of them racing at the Gas Nationals in Celina Ohio at the end of September! :)

This takes a while ........ but is the best route I'm sure after thinking (and after wife's '' didn't u just buy one for that skidoo thing [means rigger] and how much more is this? ''

Nothing dear ..... I'll just go sand ...........

little touch up to do but okay .. need to finishing polishing anyways

Now if my mounts would co-operate ...............

Servo's mounted good (used 1/4 backing plate [i glassed in plate before I put top on ] with 4/40 inserts and TSB polished mount - I mounted thottle under bracket so it's lower to engine --- would like all straight rods when possible ...........

Thanks guys

Later

Randy

lookin good Randy. You will like running the Warpath. Bring some extra underwear for the first time you go into the corner at speed :woohoo:

Sofar all the props i have tried have worked good, and all have ran over 70mph, with the fastest producing runs up almost 77mph. If all goes well, i may have a new prop that puts the Warpath near 80
