Hi Guys
I never have seen a rigger run in person - but thought they were cool so when Marc made kits thought what the he .... it's a Canadian boat so it must be good ... eh.

Can't wait to see my daughter's dog try to catch this one in water ... (her lab chases my rc boats)

I'd try. Ive been long time in project due to personal health issues and I hope I get to try it before winter hits ....OMG

I'm sitting (agsin) so have edit time ... hopefully my son will help 'splash' some color on weekend

Cheers

Randy

I have a few diff ideas and few 'sets' of things to try ... Lol

Oh and thanks Marc - hope I haven't been driving you crazy -- hardware and maybe I get to splash it soon ....... thanks a bunch

Randy,

Looks like it's coming along great! Awesome! Can't wait to see it all finished, then some video hopefully. :)

I see you have a few diff carb shields to try there. If for some reason you have issues with them, get in touch with me and I can get you one of the new ones...either in wood kit or epoxy glass. I've been testing it a lot and absolutely no water issues. I'm also working on a cowl. If all goes well I will pull the mold off the plug tonight and hopefully start to lay up some cowls in the next couple of days. Personally, I really like the carb shields, but some guys just don't like that, so I'm gonna try to offer a cowl as an option.

I like what you did with the scoop, and also love the nosepieces at the rear of the sponsons and on the carb shield. Nice work!

Btw, make sure you have about 1/2" of STRAIGHT taper on the leading edge of the fin, sharpened on outside (right side) only. If it isn't tapered far enough or rounded it will pull right. We've been finding that on some boats its also good to not have any toe-in at all on the left (port) sponson.

Shot a little color - still needs wet sanding (for tape lines and to even out color - hard to spray candy colors when your old ....lol) and clear coat but thought I'd post a few

Lots to do but gives you general idea
