One word of warning though, that kids got a hungry eye on this boat. He might want it for himself, watch out you might lose this one. Again, great work.

Managed to get mine out for a run this morning,she ran well in the windy conditions.First time boating for 8 months for me so i was a bit rusty but the boat handles great,didnt quite get to full throttle on this run as i was just getting a feel for her.I am not running any turn fins or trim tabs and the way she ran i dont think she needs any but i might put fins on later.Turns were however very smooth and predictable,i need a larger tank as this one only lasted about 5-6 mins.Shes powered by a full mod zen ,90 degree header and 2" band alli pipe and im running a 6717/3 prop ,theres a bit of cavitation on takeoff but i expected that with this prop,ill try a 7015/3 prop next.All in all a good first day im very happy with how she runs.

Boats running great now ,i just need a larger tank so i can play longer .Used an alluminium water bottle for my tank and its only a 500ml one,im installing a 1 ltr tank for a longer runtime.Boat seems to handle really well without turn fins or tabs and has no bad habits at all,very stable and fast too.Still a bit of cavitation on takeoff but a different prop should sort that out.Im more than happy with how shes running though .
