Also, I am trying to print the DXF files of the boat plans in the program AutoCAD from a mac, but can't seem to be able to get them full size. Instead they are always scaled down to fit on 1 sheet of paper. Can anyone help? Or recommend a program that I could download for free for mac that i could do this in. Thanks guys.

The plans are full scale patterns. If printed at 100% they are the actual size of the pieces. The easiest way to get them printed is to take them to a print shop. The files include pdf versions of the plans also, so you don't need a cad program. I use epoxy on my boats. I only use a strip of glass cloth along the keel on the outside of the hull, the rest of my boats are only coated with epoxy,no cloth. Doug
