Some Stalingrad stuff

kirill1958 created the topic: Some Stalingrad stuff

Well this is 1st post!
You have probably seen this cat here before, but I'm the actual owner...
Became REALLY ILL with this hobby after visiting this website, moreover it answered 99% of my questions, soon I will have more pics to show... These actually show cat's first run with no adjustments or whay so ever.
After one gallon of fuel it showed much more potential...

Hull: Conquest cat Aeromarine
Hardware: Aeromarine
Engine: J&G 25 with modifyed WT257
Pipe: Hanson alluminium pipe with 'return to centre header'
Servo: Standard size DS1015 for steering amd futaba S3003 for throttle...

Soon'll be building Aeromarine Apache 56" carbon kevlar hull with Bonzi BZ4 inline 9hp engine... have many question about it, hope you will help me with this one!

And another one..
Unluckly there was no one to take pictures last time when it showed over 60mph speed...
And yesterday steering servo broke down.. my mistake used crappety tape for radio box => got water in, digital is no longer living :(
I'm waiting for a new one and taking in account my exams in may:dash:
I'll be on water no earlier than may 20th, but after this u may expect some great pictures!
From Russia with love:bye:

Great looking Conquest .... Thanks for sharing :bye:

Sorry about the tough luck of water in the radio gear, that seldom has a happy outcome.

Thanks just wanted to do something new:drinks:
Well this was my mistake I knew I should not be racing with 4 other boats when my radio box was clearly not ready...
However this became a chance to improve the hydro isolation throughout the radio box.

Silicone isolation have been used, when two tubes touch they simply don't let the water in, silicone is very soft..
And obvously I bought some fine tape which is water resistant:dance2:
