patience,patience,thats building a boat or any wood kit is about..but your right about building the whip...the directions are horrible in my opinion,,very open ended..i have built many wood boats and whips directions are bad..the fact that i"ve built before the guess work is easier..currently building one now,almost done,,will see how she runs...i hope brian revamps directions like he has done with his thunderboat kit..

I have finished a brand new cowl installation manual for Brian and will finish in fact today a new manual for the boat. I wrote it so it is very builder friendly and it now will contain a lot of photos to go with each step. It wont be long before they will be sent out with the kits.. Thanks, Tom:)

That is really great news and something that was really needed for the whip! I would like to have the complete manual in electronic format if possible before I put up this review. I hope it will be ready so that I can include it in my article.

mr.tetrat that is great news about the directions your doing for brian..i used the project build on jims website to reference some of the missing pieces in brians original book or pages..i have built zipps and his directions are very good including the little humor joe puts in at times.try to add some yourself sometimes we all need alittle loosening up during the build..good luck mike sr
