The video of Gary's boat, was that with or without the air holes added to his cowl? Still sounds like its struggling a bit. Not revving like yours. Same prop?

Gary's boat was a big improvement with the air holes, Didn't GPS it. Same prop.
Some more tuning next week.
When I built my Warpath I cut out the back of the cowl from the get go.
Clean air to the carb. We think Butch's problem is air flow. His motor ran great in his cat. He should have it back in the rigger Sunday.
Got my new strut, Love the new turn fin, Going to tweak the boat some next week.

Yeah, I've noticed that the SM extended strut could definitely be stronger too. Mine flexes more than I would like it to.

FTR I run my cowl closed at the back and hadn't noticed any issues but will try cutting one up just for kicks to see if it makes any difference on mine too.

OOOH that sucks. New running gear for Warpath rigger in the works now.

Marc, I'll try. I volunteered to be a corner judge at the FE nationals tomorrow. After that I have nothing left. When do you need it? My plan is to make 10 sets to start with.

Mid July I am going to a friends place for a week to test at his pond (since I lost my spot) and will be tuning all my boat for the Northern nats and Gas Nats.
