60'' Weedy Boat Build-- Please comment!

The new (but used) 31cc Ryobi

After stripping it down and installing copper tubing to help cool the head. I know it's not optimum but it is better than just air cooling it.

o I took off the exhaust and I was just going to scrape off the dirt. But that turned into getting the grease off. That turned into scraping the carbon off. That turned into using the wire wheel on the air tool to get the paint off. That turned into using the wire wheel to polish the exhaust. That ended up in me painting it with high-heat gloss paint. Looks DARN good, but took me an hour and I probably wont even use this. Oh well.

Great Job!!! I'm a scratchbuilder also and got goose bumps looking ay your pics B) Keep em coming and be sure to post a vid when finished!!!! Let me know what size motor ya end up running? If you don't stay with the Ryobi, I've got 2 boxes full of weedy parts.. mainly the stuff ya don't use on airplanes... But pull starters, clutches, cables, things of that sort.. Again, great job!!!
