Hi. I use IV bags and it is new along with the fuel lines. I am going to take the motor out just to check the IV bag just to make sure, along with fuel lines. The fuel filter in line is clean also.
I am hoping to try it again today with all the settings that have been suggested.
Thanks
Tar :)

Hello Mister Tar the other thing too with IV bags
when you fill it up make sure you take all of the air
out of it.
I did that mistake a while back, and my boat would
stall and wonderd why till I notice that there was to much
air in it for it to pick up the gas a newby mistake LOL.
they way to take the air out is fill it up then reverse
your pump till you see the gas comming back that will take all the air out.
Im posting this just incase you did not do this.

Luc

When you start it on the bench can you shut it down by closing the throttle? If it won't shut down then you have an airleak somewhere. From what you said, it's bogging when you drop it in the water. That means you either have the low end of the carb too lean or you have a leak somewhere.

Thanks for the tip but since I have been using IV bags now for several years I have learnt also about the purging of the air. Yea I learned the hard way too. But thanks for the reminder anyway.

Yes I can shut it down using the throttle. I also now think that it is an air leak and will be going out today to make sure all things are tight when they should be.
Thanks for all of the tips.
