Inline Twin Zenoah Build

isuzudude created the topic: Inline Twin Zenoah Build

I took 2 of my Zenoah airplane engines and used a Redline twin link to build this 52cc for my next project!!! B) Nothing in mind yet, still debugging my Killer Kat project. Just wanted to share it with Y'all!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: Still have to do a machine job to convert it to water cooled.

I was looking at stock specs on both air and marine engines, both are 10,000 max rpm, does this mean the porting is the same? Should this engine turn the same in a boat if propped the same as for a stock marine engine? As you can see the later part of the video, once I got the fuel mixture close to right, rpms came up tremendously. Anybody with any experience with this? I guess what I'm wanting to know...is it worth it to do the conversion on these engines?
Thanks in advance...
Doug.

These older 2 port g230's ? ... or newer 4 port g231/260 series engines ?

If older 230's, What is the NUMBER cast into side of cylinders ?
1040 or 1044 ?

Hi i know the red source coils have different advance curves to the grey plane coils so if your engines are fitted with these they will need changing, surely Scott will be able to advise about this with his experience on these engines.just my bit on the subject which i hope gives a little help.cheers Darren
