Gizmo's GZ-2 likely has the more extensive mods done .... Tho no first hand experience with DDM's offerings either. Just hear little to nothing about there marine engines or mods

Thats the 26cc setup I am refering to. Maybe you could post me pics when you get another. Sure sounds good for price. I have seen pics of the gizmo mods and it looks very nice. Do you know how many rpm's you were turning with the DDM setup

I don't recall the exact rpm they were running .. I'm a play [sport] boat guy not a racer ....... seems to me they ran as good as a couple way more expensive engines I had .

rpm to me as always been a mater of many things .... not just the engine :) .. props... set up ..... water conditions .... carb ... etc.

I use my GPS and tach combined with few other things [lots of video] but I'm no pro at engines at all ...... guys like Scott work on more in a year than I have seen .......

it's a combination ..... boats only as good as the whole thing

I ordered one, the DDM 260 top kit, a new crank and a piston bearing only cost me $123 with free shipping, will install it on my old cat and use a mod piston.

I ran this DDM mod cylinder kit with a mod piston on my Sprint cat last Friday, very impressive with its speed and performance, compared to GZ-2 top kit, I'd say GZ-2 mod kit has a bit more top speed on the straight and corner.

I have heard that Zenoah are bringing out a 29cc marine topend and should be ready approx mid June! Also in the works is a 2mm+ stroker crank but not sure if Car or Marine or both?

Hey Doug. It's me, John (Wolfman) from Riverside, CA. Yesterday I was running my
Backlash with the TS reed cases and your ported cylinder. It was running strong for the first 3 laps. It started slowing on the 4th and shut down. I go out to it to find the water line on thr rudder came off and the motor OVERHEATED!
Ruined the cylinder and piston. It was my fault. DUMB-ASS me failed to put a zip
tie on the line. EXPENSIVE LESSON.
