Wow 47 pounds ..ouch

u need a lot of power to spin a set of 2720's -- stock RZ will not spin those to 16 k that I have ever seen and the 47 pounds kind of heavy

I would not be looking to go bigger

Weight and big props is ok. Will make the boat run really good in rough waters.
Only thing needed is a truly strong engine, and you're fine.
Remember my advice about the Blata engine?
Just my 5 cents...

I agree Woody weight and big props are great with stock motors ...... if your building a Tugboat :laugh:

Ahh - "tugboat" - yeah...
Wait untill my Smoking Cigarette 56" wooden mono, 12,5 kilos, 15 hp Blata and huge dual props at 27.000 rpm hits the rough waters! Only issue will be to keep water out and air in, as she plows the sea. He-he....
