Hi Canadian.

Your boats are simply stunning!
But I would like to know: The carbon look on the wing, is that real carbon or just look-a-like?
If it's real carbon, did you make it yourself, or could you buy it somewhere in "plates" to carve into shape?
Carbon or not. I would really be thankfull if you could provide some "recepy" (drawing) of how-to-do making a usefull wing. That is: not just a wing for show.

Cheers! :cheer:

it's real carbon fiber plate - you can buy various sizes and thickness - hardest part is cutting it

they are functional over 50 mph if I tilt more it 'squats boat down too much (on this hull) and depends on props but if I drop 2 or 3 degrees more tilt in rear helps lift more than that it wants to float I did my testing on a smaller hull first and worked better than this bigger hull

Want to try on smaller like a Drag cat or maybe Blast Cat (40" is ordered from Andy)

not everything works out ... first all alum one weighs a ton ...lol

Hi Canadian.

Thanks for your help and also thanks for the link.

I am not quite sure if a wing would be useful on the mono, that I am building, but you certainly have helped me to get thinking about this.
So I will prepare my mono for a wing before the test run in april or may. A 4-channel radio (gas, steering, angle of sterndrive and now also adjustment of wing) will be needed.
In this way I will be ready to set up an adjustable wing if it's needed for running in the rough waters in my place.

Thanks for helping me so far. Also thanks for the very fine pics.

Cheers! :cheer:
