Well it does spin when I try to turn too sharp. And it does have some pretty bad walk with no counter-rotating props. But it's getting better, little at a time.
The video of the last run... when I got it to shore, I poured out about 2 pounds of water that leaked in. That's why it was leaning when I came up to the bank. I think I would have gotten 50 mph out of her without that leak!!! With the modded engines and new props, it's gonna get REAL interesting!!!!!!
ANTICIPATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Isuzu.
Regarding the turning problems and the prop walking, I suspect there is no way around it, except to mount a couple of turnfins and adjust them untill you get the best result.
BTW: What is the dry weight of your cat? That is without gas and without a gallon of water in the hull?
Cheers!
Woodie.

27 pounds... I thought of adding fins, but that would just add drag. I don't have room for drag!!!!

Doug.
What!?
Are you getting those nasty little engines as a sponsorship just to beat my Kat Killer, or did you have to pay for them?
- Just joking. It sure will be interesting to see the outcome of this!
In the meantime my own project is stuck as usual, as I still am missing engine rails and stern drives. Expecting those parts to arrive soon though.
Cheers and good luck. You might even beat me when it comes to the great showdown - some day - I think - I hope....
Woodie.

Hey Woodie... I decided to send my engines off to Carlos when the Kat wouldn't go fast enough to catch a mouse!!! When I started building my Kat, I had a speed in my head of what I wanted the boat to do long before we started jousting with each other    And when it didn' t do it... I started looking at different power plants. If for reason (which I don't think will happen) these new engines aren't enough... I will be putting twin inlines in her!!!!!!!!!
One way or another, this boat is going to fly!!!! But being able to cut up with you as we go has made it that much better!!!!!  Like I told ya in a post quite awhile back... I'm to the point that I don't care which one of us is the fastest... I just REALLY want to see what both of these BEASTS can actually do!!! But don't get me wrong, when my KK smashes your Hammer... That's just going to make it that much more enjoyable!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I just wish some good luck would come your way, so you can at least get all your parts you're needing!!!
I know it's got to be frustrating, I'm not sure how I would have handled all the delays you have encountered...
Best of luck to you my friend,,, We will have our joust one day!!!!!!!!
Doug.
