Canopy Cowl for Apache

Nothing like a few action shots to pump up motivation! Your guys in Trinidad got it goin on over there! No doubt they are satisfied customers.

First one out is hemi orange. Two 3/4 oz Matt and some more at the tie down and cut out sections. Vinylester resin. :woohoo: DONE!

Very nice, originally designed work, from start to finish. The hobby needs more of this!

Agreed. Good work, and thanks for taking the time to post up. Do you need to bake vinylester like you do epoxy to get it to cure?

I'll take some credit for the tooling but not the design. I tweeked it but Crespo, Bellinger and Pat from Shoreline came up with this look for the protege and Tom and Mort from the RAM club convinced me to make it. "I don't even own an apache".

Vinylester is just a top of the line resine that kicks off with m.e.k. like polyester but is less toxic, gives you more work time and holds up better. Also way more expensive.

Looks good. What Apache will it fit or can it be trimmed to fit more than one hull? I own a 57" Speedfreek Apache.
